Bithiah’s House is a short-term residential treatment center for infants and toddlers in the foster care system. We specialize in medically-fragile cases and strive to offer a loving home-like environment for each child who comes through our doors.
Throughout our 6-bed facility, we offer specific care plans and therapeutic services for babies and toddlers ages 0-4. Bithiah’s House is an official 501(c)(3) nonprofit with the mission to provide safe, temporary housing and treatment for babies with the goal of transitioning to a family.
Board of Directors
Keith and Michelle Thompson have been licensed foster parents since 2008. After two biological children, three children adopted through foster care and numerous foster placements, they started seeing the great need for temporary residence of babies and toddlers in the foster care system. After trying to meet this need in their home since 2014, they decided to open a separate residence to care for and treat more babies at a time. Keith and Michelle are both educators residing in Southern California. They have been married since 2003 and enjoy camping and life’s adventures as a big family.
